  • Challenges facing survival of: small business, farms & medical practices in Michigan
  • Bad laws and over-regulation that harm small & medium size farms & businesses
  • Issues involving property taxes, eminent domain, local control & government overreach
  • Factual information, several petitions & resources available about current issues
  • What a person can do to survive and thrive under current & future challenges

  • Jarrett Skorup–Vice president for marketing and communications at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He is a graduate of Grove City College with degrees in history and political science. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Fox News, Detroit Free Press, Detroit News and many other newspapers across the country.
  • Karla Wagner–Executive Director of Ax Mi Tax Michigan. Karla is a small business owner, real estate agent, tax specialist, and has a residential builders license. She’s also served as a volunteer sheriff’s deputy.
  • Kenneth Purchase–Ken has had a distinguished career in Marketing & Sales. He previously served as Vice-President of Marketing and sales for the JA Vanden Bosch company. Recently, he’s been working on crafting safe ordinances for Industrial Wind, Solar and battery storage facilities. He is a leader in the Petition drive for Citizens For Local Control.
  • Jennifer Jones–A business owner and an expert in water resource management and environmental issues. She has degrees from Michigan Tech (BS), GVSU (MS) and a PhD from MSU. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Voice Of Spring Lake a 501-C4 non-profit organization.
  • Steve Goreham–Steve is the Executive Director of the “Climate Science Coalition of America”. He is a well regarded researcher, writer and speaker on environmental issues. He holds BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois. He also has an MBA from the University of Chicago.
  • Luke Meerman–Michigan State Representative (89th Hs. District) elected in 2018. Luke serves on several House committees including Appropriations. He is also a 5th generation Dairy Farmer and has served on the Ottawa County Farm bureau Board. He lives in Coopersville with his wife Victoria and their 5 children.
  • Pastor Austin Kreutz–Currently the Pastor of Restoration Christian Community in Allegan, MI and The President of the Bonhoeffer Forum. He has an MA from Ashland Theological Seminary and a BA from Heidelberg College. Austin is the Former Director of Albany Area Biblical Counseling. He also has taught Internationally.
